A Japanese-inspired horror adventure focused on narrative exploration and puzzle solving. The prototype removes conventional combat and leveling in favor of environmental clues, story beats and carefully paced pursuit sequences.
The project began as a small independent collaboration inspired by narrative horror games such as Ib and The Witch's House, exploring how RPG Maker could support a more focused adventure-game experience.
Create a coherent 1–1.5 hour playable demo in three weeks, combining story exploration, puzzles and light pursuit mechanics while validating narrative and level pacing.
I implemented game logic, planned hospital environments and puzzles, and wrote the core narrative. Limited save points, environmental clues and character dialogue were used to control tension across pixel exploration and illustrated story scenes.
The team completed a playable demo covering roughly 20% of the planned story and established a consistent visual and interaction language across character art, pixel environments, dialogue choices and puzzle beats.
